Snow Day on Hilton Head Island

Small Town USA Just Happens To Be on Hilton Head Island
The town does everything it can to grant the wishes of its residents.
We have Lovely Mild Winters. Our average annual day time temperature is 75 degrees.
On January 24th , 2009 the Town proclaimed an official Snow Day on Hilton Head Island
From 11:00 to 4:00pm in the Park at Shelter Cove. Children had a minimal admission fee; parents and
grandparents can join them for Free. There were booths, jumping machines, slides and a DJ that played
some great music that caused all to walk with a beat to their step. But the main attraction was taking place
in an area of about 50 ft. by 50 ft. Man made snow was falling on residents of all ages. Every 10 minutes
a new group was welcomed into the winter wonder land. You see; we think of everything. When you
Move here from some place up north, and you are missing the frosty winters, we have the tools to warm
your heart.
